/ About the Project
Menake is a Kannada indie-pop music video by Tanmay Gururaj ft. Anjali Anish, directed by Pratham Raje Urs and produced by Talon Production House. The single is Tanmay Gururaj's fourth Kannada independent release, and Talon Production House handled the music video production from shoot to delivery.
The video tells a warm, romantic story through small everyday moments: an instant camera and a handmade scrapbook, quiet conversations in cafe and garden settings, and a candlelit birthday surprise, before opening into a dreamy, choreographed dance sequence in deep reds and gold. Pratham Raje Urs directed and handled cinematography, with Infant John A as associate cinematographer and Dhiya TS as assistant director. Vikram Adithya Reddy served as executive producer. Prashant Daniel graded the film, with DI and VFX by One Shot Post.
The dream sequence was choreographed by Sadhwin Shetty and Shashank, with art direction by Sankalp Ashirwad Mandol, background dancer outfits by INTARA, equipment from Swasthi Info Media and behind-the-scenes coverage by Ether Media. Menake follows Jhumki as Talon Production House's latest music video with Tanmay Gururaj, part of the studio's ongoing work in music video production for independent artists in Bengaluru.
/ Partly Shot at Talon Production House
Parts of Menake were filmed at Talon Production House's own studio space in J. P. Nagar, Bengaluru, with the rest shot on location. The studio portions used Talon's in-house shooting environment and crew.
